First Aid for Mind, Body & Soul
We can all do with a little TLC, especially if we feel troubled, anxious or overwhelmed. Trauma, tragedy, grief and life challenges can make us feel overwhlemed. When we feel overwhelmed and stressed, we risk burnout, fatigue or worse. This is the time to prioritise self-care, not dismiss it as a luxury.
Self-care is not selfish; it is an acknowledgement that our lives matter and that we choose to make ourselves a priority. Taking care of ourselves when we are overwhelmed, stressed, grieving, or feeling like life is upside down gives our mind, body and soul a chance to gather strength. Self-care nurtures our capacity for healing and restoration.
